BASBAŞ is a Free Trade Zone completed last year and located in Bergama İzmir, the western part of Türkiye, close to major ports and logistical networks.

A delegation representing BASBAŞ, composed of Retired Ambassador Mr. Ümit Yalçın, Senior Consultant for Foreign Investments at BASBAŞ, and Mr. Ümit Murat Güner, Deputy Director General of BASBAŞ, visited Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, Shenzhen and Zhaoqing last week.

The delegation held fruitful discussions with the local Chinese authorities as well as company representatives on mutual investment opportunities and ways to further strengthen Turkish-Chinese economic ties.
